Likutei Shirim

 I'm tired of flying, of dreaming, of waiting, I'm ready to land - somehow. And slowly start getting used to "earth" - Real life in the here-and- now. Finding strength and courage with every step, Feeling fresh, alert, and aware... Life is not up in Heaven, it's here on Earth, And Hashem is here, not there.

 It's spring, it's spring, it's finally spring! It puts a spring in your step. It's time to forget, to start over again, And to sing, and to dance, and to clap!

My time is a vast sea of emptiness. Underwhelm of the century. Hashem, please don't let me drown. But when I find Your love in this emptiness And even learn to serve You eventually - That will be Your biggest crown.

 "When G-d closes a door, He opens a window." A window to jump from, I'd say. People can't just walk through a window And into a new life. So I guess I'll wait for a door. However long it takes...

Like a tree, I want to give fruit. Like a tree, I want to grow. I will use my strength for good When the sap begins to flow.

Living WIth my exquisite pain. Twisting Both my heart and my brain. Knowing That I have to let go. Pain, good-bye! Time to heal and to grow.
